He has built and honed his skills within global businesses such as SAS and Dyson as well as smaller, startup/scale-up, environments including AI chip firm Graphcore.
Currently, he is the Head of TA for the BBC across Tech, Product & Corporate functions.
Oli is passionate about building high-performance teams and scaling companies. Currently Head of Talent at AVK, the fastest-growing and largest power solutions supplier in Europe, Oli previously led talent at Made Tech, a scaling UK-based tech consultancy. Before that, Oli ran the global talent programme at Tech Nation, supporting top international tech talent relocating to the UK and building a thriving alumni community spanning 100+ countries. Earlier in their career, Oli founded and ran two businesses: a travel e-commerce company and a co-working space for the neurodivergent community.
Alex is an experienced Talent Acquisition leader with a proven track record in recruitment delivery across multiple industries, including banking and technology. Skilled in international Talent Acquisition, people management, and strategic sourcing across all verticals, Alex is a strong HR professional with an Executive Master of Arts (MA) in Management from Durham University and is currently studying for CIPD Level 5.
